Working with a number of businesses across the technology industry, Aura aims to ensure we meet the high standards set out by our partners in terms of sustainability. Our impact on the environment is of utmost importance to everyone at Aura, and we challenge our colleagues on a daily basis to think about the mark they're leaving on our planet.
To complement our personal and business goals, we recently applied to become a 3* Certified HP Sustainable Impact Partner. The award emphasises our commitment towards Sustainable Impact as outlined by HP.
Since launching the programme, HP has recovered 1.7 million pounds of plastic bound for the ocean for use within their products, planted 1 million trees, and have achieved zero deforestation associated with HP-branded paper. Their numbers are impressive and we’re excited to be a part of that journey.
The 3* award given to Aura means we’ve been able to demonstrate the following criteria:
- Internal sustainability awareness program in place
- Cascaded HP Sustainability Training for all account teams
- Using HP Sustainability information in tenders
- Reporting tenders/deal won, where sustainability information was used
We’re excited that our compliance will contribute to the wider HP Global Amplify Partner Impact programme. Sustainable impact consideration will be a big part of public sector tenders in the coming years (10% of all available marks now) and 50% of FTSE 100 businesses have signed up to carbon neutrality by 2030.
